2023.08.10Fudan University and Gotion High-tech established a joint research center for advanced battery technologies.

On August 9, 2023, the “Fudan University-Gotion High-tech Advanced Battery Technology University-Enterprise Joint Research Center” (hereinafter, the “Joint Research Center”), jointly established by Fudan University and Gotion High-tech, was formally established and inaugurated. Under this agreement, the two parties will jointly conduct research and development and exchange information on projects related to advanced materials and battery technologies, including sodium-ion batteries, thermal insulation materials, and LMFP materials. At the ceremony, Dr. Ma Yugang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice President of Fudan University, and Dean of a research institute, and Dr. Cheng Qian, Executive Officer of International Business at Gotion High-tech, represented the two parties in celebrating the establishment of the Joint Research Center. Dr. Chu Junhao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Dean of Fudan University’s Institute of Optoelectronics, said that this is an important and far-reaching collaboration, and expressed the hope that the Joint Research Center will become a source of original development for China’s advanced battery technologies and a training base for highly skilled application-oriented talent.
