Gotion is a technology-driven company. It has established eight R&D centers and four validation platforms worldwide, supported by more than 10,000 R&D professionals. R&D investment has exceeded 10% of revenue for consecutive years, and the company has developed about 15,000 patented technologies covering the battery value chain. Its technology portfolio spans multiple mainstream chemistries and technology pathways, including LFP, NCM, sodium-ion, hybrid solid-liquid, and all-solid-state batteries. Its LFP technology can achieve 97% state of charge (SOC) in 8.7 minutes. Its sodium-ion batteries support discharge at temperatures as low as -50°C and deliver up to 20,000 cycles. Gotion’s Gemstone all-solid-state battery has achieved an energy density of more than 400 Wh/kg, with pilot-scale production progressing steadily. In energy storage, the 20 MWh Gotion GRID Q Smart Energy Storage System is the world’s first system with a single-cabin capacity of 20 MWh, marking a significant advance in high-capacity energy storage system design.

Gotion High-Tech Australia Pty Ltd was officially established in October 2024. From the very beginning, we have actively engaged with Australia’s renewable energy industry. At All-Energy Australia 2024, Gotion showcased its comprehensive portfolio of core battery products and signed a strategic cooperation agreement for large-scale energy storage projects with a potential capacity exceeding 4 GWh.
Today, with offices in Melbourne and Sydney, we combine Gotion’s global R&D, manufacturing and engineering capabilities with local Australian market expertise.
