2025.02.26Gotion High-tech Signs Contracts Exceeding 7GWh at BATTERY JAPAN! 7MWh Energy Storage System Unveiled for the First Time

From February 19 to 21, 2025, at the Japan International Secondary Battery Exhibition (BATTERY JAPAN) held at Tokyo Big Sight, Gotion High-tech unveiled its newly developed 7MWh containerized energy storage system for the first time and signed contracts with multiple international energy companies totaling more than 7GWh.  

Gotion High-tech's 7MWh containerized energy storage system features high capacity, high safety, and a modular design, attracting significant attention at the venue. In addition, a high-capacity 650Ah energy storage cell was exhibited, further improving the efficiency and reliability of energy storage systems and accelerating the practical implementation of large-scale energy storage.

During the exhibition, Gotion High-tech signed sales framework agreements with multiple major energy companies, finalizing cooperation plans exceeding 7GWh. This will further strengthen its presence in the energy storage and battery sectors in global markets and contribute to the expanded adoption of renewable energy and the transition to clean energy.

In recent years, Gotion High-tech has steadily expanded its energy storage business in the Japanese market and successfully delivered multiple energy storage projects in Okinawa Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Kyushu, the Tohoku region, and other areas. These projects support the development of local renewable energy and the stabilization of the power grid.
